I'm out for the 21st. I have my soon to be cousin-in-law's bachelor party. Starting the day out at Fast Times to race the real go-karts, then it just builds from there. Have fun.

Well it was very fun even though Michael and Miranda were the only non BZCC members that went. WE had 7 Z cars and about 15 people.

The karts were a blast. 1.5 mile track + some nice turns + pretty quick karts = Fun Miranda had so much fun that she had to go home and change clothes before going to lunch with us. LOL

Thanks Nick!

Hey since you live close, could you help with getting a meet set up? We need some info on a hotel that is nice and well priced that is also close to the event. Also any info on any other activities that weekend would be great. SCCA or Dragstrip ect...

Yeah there is a local drag strip here about 15 miles away from tire rack. Its not the best but it will do. There are numerous hotels due to notre dame being located 3 miles from the rack. I can do some reasearch on hotels. My home number is 574-271-1840 if you want to talk more about it. Nick

Well depends where you want to stay. In the middle of everything is going to be about $20 more a night. It puts you 15 minutes from the tire rack, 10 minutes from the drag strip, a mile from the mall, few minutes from the local cruising strip, and walking distance from local resturaunts. If you stay by the airport which is a little cheap and only a few minutes from tire rack, but a little further away from the happening spots. Let me know what you want to do? I also just signed up to drive in the drift practice along with my friend Bill, hopefully my friend Josh with his silvia will sign up soon. This is all in South bend/ Mishawaka, IN. Thanks. Nick

Ok I called on hotels. I called 3 hotels to check for room availability. All 3 hotels were full. Turns out Notre Dame kick off their football season at home vs. Michigan Sept 11. There aren't any hotels in the are with rooms. I can have a few people stay at my house if they are really set on attending or participating in the drift practice. There is still 14 spots available for the drift practice. The limit is capped at 30 drivers. It will go on from 9:30 till late afternoon.

You can email me if you have any questions[email protected]

Bill is going to be drifting the 89 hatch. He just turboed it too. Bill should be one of the better ones there. Bill blew a piston in the Z at 140mph and still had 5th gear to go. He has to pull the motor and throw a new piston in, other than that its a 12 second car.

Yeah we still havn't got around to pulling the motor yet. Bill should probably look into forged pistons. This will be the 4th time in 2 months.

Well, I won't be coming to the drift day, but I will be in South Bend. My cousin just called and told me that his boss gave him his tickets to the Notre Dame - Michigan football game which happens to be Spetember 11th, the same day as the drifting at Tire Rack. So, I will be going to the game. I would love to check out the drift event, but there is no way I can pass up aticket to the Notre Dame - Michigan game. Enjoy the drifitng.

Bill has a few of his buddies from peru coming up. I just need to gather up some drift tires. They sure picked a great day for the game.
