one last sr timing chain question/dilema???

well i was almost finished with timing chain replacement...i lined up the yellow link with the crank. and lined up the 2 dark links with the dots on the cam sprockets...but then when i put the upper guide on and the tensioner i decided to turn the motor since i was done...well i turned the motor over 20 times and the links dont line back up with the cam sprocket dots...is it supposed to line back up??? what the hell man!!! some one please let me know, thanks

IIRC they on ever lineup abotu every 70 revs or so. As lon as you did it right to start you are ok.

Your best bet would be to simply count the rollers between the cam dots, and go from there if you are worried.

i have never played with it long enought for them to line back up-theyre just there to make sure you have everything right on your part and that's all. car starts=good to go

well i havent started the car yet becuase the motor is out...does the fsm say this? the rs-ethalpy website doesnt say this, or im not seeing it
