^^ yeah i notice a dimming when i try to, for instance, roll a window up if its already all the way up also, if you press the hazard switch halfway in (between on and off) just like the headlight trick, you can make the right side turn signal blink and the left side stays off
playing with the switches has actually helped me gain an appreciation for nice japanese switches. I mean they are solidly built. I can truly feel the precision in a Japanese switch. I hop in my chevy truck and i can feel how crappy all the switches are. For example, in a japanese car, you can press the turn signal only halfway to a point before it clicks, just like if you want to do three blinks and you dont want to click the turn signal only to unclick it after a lane change. Its just so perfect, since they've been designing them that way for 20 years now. Try to do that in a ford or chevy and they dont have that. instead, the signal starts making a crazy buzzing noise or it will start to blink really fast.
Or if the turn signal is already engaged with a click, lets say just for example its clicked down for a left turn signal - if you press down on it further with your finger (even very lightly) it will go crazy in a chevy. Buzzing and maybe blinking 5x as fast. Or it will stop blinking at all. You can press it hard, soft, whatever in a japanese car and it doesnt even phase it at all. AT ALL!!!!
cliff notes: american switches feel like something you would get at Toys-r-us
