Hello all,
I have a 2007 m35x. Recently my drivers side low beam went out. Going in to replace the bulb, I noticed that the rear cover of the headlamp fell off and weathering had made it's way in. I new bulb did not work. I took it to a mechanic who told me that there is power getting to the bulb. He believed the problem was that there was not a good contact between the bulb plate and the headlight assembly. I took off the tire to get a better angle, and tried to clean the area with a brillo pad. No luck. I am just about to take it to the dealer, but thought I would post this first to see if anyone could shed light on this (no pun intended).
Thanks!

I have been having an issue with my low beam halogen bulbs burning out way too quick on my 2007 m35x. Just had another one go out, and just replaced them maybe 4 months ago. It's always the driver side that goes out to, although a new bulb always works. I'm not sure if the root problem is the same but I've been searching for a thread for my problem and seems like all I can find is talk about HID's.

So as I have been too busy to get the car in the shop, lo and behold the light comes when I start the car this morning (Auto lights kicked in). About a mile up the road, as I am stopped at a stop light, it decides to go out again and has stayed out since. Trying to get to the shop this weekend..

Hopefully it's simple as a loose connection along the way. Obviously the bulb itself is in working order lest it would never light at all. Could be a loose pin in the connector as well.

I am having a similar issue. Did you ever figure out what was the problem?
