Well yesterday I installed my electric fans with 185 degree thermostat, and neither of the fans would kick on. Well today I rewired it differently. I hooked the fan on the intake side up to the a/c plug, and the one on the exhaust manifold side to the thermostat. Well I let it run, and the one hooked up to the a/c switch kicked on, but the other one didn't. Did it just not get up to 185 or is something still not right with the thermostat and wiring? I thought the a/c fan was supposed to kick on at 200 or something. I'm confused and agrivated with this.

Im guessing there is a relay in the thermostat circuit no? Make sure you have power into the relay at the spade connector, and then jump the power out and power in spades together (note you dont need the relay just the connector) and check for power at the fan.

If that is good, put a meter on the trigger for the relay, where the thermostat plugs in, and groud it out on the other meter lead. If the thermostat grounds when it gets hot, then by turning on the car and running it, when it gets hot you will see continuity on the meter, as it switches....
