I wish my-mazda-stinks.com was still running. The guy owned a 929 and hated it with a passion. Lots of interesting pics and stories. Was a useful site for TSBs too. [Dont go there now. Its p0rn.]

I have to say the one point where he says the US media doesn't want to report on Audi's problems made me laugh out loud.

Hmmm. So if that site is p0rn now, what exactly does "my mazda" mean in pornographic terminology?

I really like Audi's but you'll notice I don't own one. It is disappointing to read about their declining reliability. But complex vehicles means more stuff that can break. Mercedes has the same problem.

I've driven several. You can't really appreciate how great they are until you drive one on a race track. Delightful cars to toss. The quattro versions rock. They also have surprising roomy cargo areas.

As far as driving them on the street, they don't have great visibility from the driver seat, (tough to see traffic lights), but they are set up very nicely for performance driving. IMHO they're pretty comfortable.

I wish they had "Audi sucks websites" when I went through my own Audi headaches some years ago.
