saw matchstick men... it was decent but more family oriented than I thought it would be. There are some good twists and overall its a solid movie.

Between the two, Matchstick Men. Nicky Cage is on a roll lately as is Depp but Once Upon a Time is tired material. Rodriguez's messy action sequences are decent but don't hold a candle to the true visionaries in the genre ie Woo, Lam, Besson, etc.

once upon a time in mexico is definitely rental material. i don't really feel like spoiling it or going into detail, but if you value saving like 5 bucks from a ticket compared to a rental...i would :P

Like said above... Once apon a time in mexico is rental movie not worth watching it in the theaters... it's an alright movie

it's a Mexican version of Pulp fiction... dark comedy... if you liked pulp fiction, you will like this.. but again.. wait till it comes out on vedio.. which won't be too long..

Mexican version of Pulp Fiction??? NO WAY!! some comedy in pulp fiction might've been dark, but it was more subtle, the comedy was used more to ward off any bloody incoming violence. Once Upon a Time in Mexico was pretty good, only for Depp really, he saves the movie, but there's too many plot holes and not enough dialogue to make the movie that enjoyable. Matchstick Men does have a family oriented feel to it, good roll, and pretty good plot twist, but most of you should see it coming, not anywhere near being as good as the plot twist in The Usual Suspects.

I beg to differ. Pulp Fiction is a legendary movie and perhaps the most influential film of the 90's. Tarantino invented the disjointed timeline that inspired movies like the Usual Suspects. On the other hand, Once Upon a Time in Mexico is an unoriginal shoot-em-up that's been done before and done better. Depp was good in this movie as are the old vets, Dafoe and Rourke playing the bad guys. They're the only things that make this drivel worth watching.

I hope Mickey Rourke hands Enrique Iglesias' *** to him in it just like he did in the Hero video...

Repoman and I saw Underworld today. It was a really good movie. It leaves you hanging at the end, so they can make another movie. Plenty of action and it was well directed. The movie even had a plot, imagine that!

Wanted to see Underworld last night but they were sold out so Once Upon a Time in Mexico was the backup.Wasn't a bad movie, you just can't go into it expecting an incredible, AFI award-winning plot and storyline; that's not what these movies are about. I enjoyed it, over-dramatized action, simple comedy, and interesting characters and mini-plots were all cool and kept my interest, but didn't make me wanna go become the hardest core Desperado fan of all time.

It was good. Go see it. Don't expect Citizen Kane.

I saw Underworld and Matchstick men this weekend, they both were great with Matchstick Men being the best. The only issue I had with Underworld was the auto pistols shooting AT LEAST 30 rounds between magazine changes. Other than that, awesome movie and that chick is SMOKING hot in that leather

Automatic pistols do exist, but I dont think it was ment to be real. Nor is Liquid Nitrate filled bullets or UV bullets. Smoking hot chicks in leather, is always a plus.

Oh, I know Auto pistols exist...in fact I can name quite a few...just very few of them shoot that many rounds and the ones that do have extended clips unlike the ones in the movie. But...it was STILL an awesome movie, I especially liked the head sliding off scene :D

If a movie is a fantasy movie, I hardly care what appears to be real or not. Heck it has Vampires and Werewolves, how unreal can you get. I have had to endure people critiquing the Matrix Reloaded because it wasnt real. What do you expect from a fantasy movie.

I can’t wait for the next installment of the movie though; I hear they are working on it. Resident Evil 2 will rock. I should go watch that now.

so who wants to count shots in Dirty Harry?

I can't remember them dropping the ball in it on that subject, good movie though, I remember using it in a few criminal justice lessons on ethics back in high school...

I really liked it! Hot chics mad action and silver nitrate!

Jst for the record lots of people were talking about "auto" pistols. Her pistol wasn't fully automatic... she was just able to squeeze that fast (must be good to be a vampire). In the slomotion scenes you can see that she is pulling the trigger like that... I like that better anyway!

Robocops gun was the same way... everyone used to say it was automatic... He could just pull that fast.

Also did you guys see the Alien preview!! I missed it in theatres the first time... Hopefully They will do Aliens also!

I wonder how many people will quote Hudson at the theaters, I know I will, mainly because of the damn video game though...

GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER!!!!

reminds me of The Terrible Thunderlizards from Eek! The Cat...
