Hell yes... those ppl would have been in deep chit for fleeing the scene of the accident without making some attempt to leave contact info.Seanzyyy wrote:but yea, next time, call the po-po right away, that way ish can be settled pronto
I dunno... Insurance seems to find the highest bidders for repair costs and base their judgement off of that and the fair market value of 240's in your general area. If there's a lot of drift-tax going on in your area, this could really work out in your favor.Seanzyyy wrote:i dont think you'll obtain a salvage title for it, salvage titles are generally reserved for cars considered to be a total loss for the insurance company. pretty sure the cost of repairs won't outweigh the value of the car so you should be ok with keeping a clean title homie
yea, good point.meh, salvage title isn't as bad as it may seem.worst part about it is resale value imo.all you gotta deal with his some cracks and dents and getting insurance money..fuggit!simmode1 wrote:

But I'd say odds are good that you'll end up with a salvage title and some cash. Hey, it's not the worst that could happen...
doubt I'll get enough for that though.. let's hopesimmode1 wrote: I'd take the money and invest in some coilovers and new wheels.
Nah, from the looks of it where it was hit in the rear, it pushed the bumper into the unibody frame causing the quarter panel to buckle out. Look at how the line warped where the quarter lines up to the hatch. You'll probably need to pull the panel and pound the unibody structure a bit to line it back up for a new panel. Two Fowty wrote:It's bent out so far though. I mean my wheels look horrible with the car anyways, but now the quarterpanel is so far out, looks like balls. I'd like to fix it just so it doesn't look like s***. Any ideas on how I'd do that?
Cause any money I get from this I plan on getting the car running properly, as much as I'd love new wheels and some coilovers :\
aren't qp's welded on? :\ overfender time haha. but then my wheels will look like hugggeee s***. think spacers could fix that?scotty-2-forty wrote: You'll probably need to pull the panel and pound the unibody structure a bit to line it back up for a new panel.
