best offer on the table is 3500

I originally wanted 5500, but since the turbo is out and the flywheel at a minimum needs to be cleaned, I lowered my price. I still think 3500 is reasonable for a swapped 240 that needs a bit of TLC. Having said that, I would go lower because quite frankly..money talks. And if someoen gave me 3200 or some **** and showed me the money liek jerry maguire, I would take it

I ran mine to the boost sensor and wired it to the R33 boost gauge. I am kinda poor so I just used what I had.

I HAVE AN ENTIRE RB25DE MINUS CRANK AND RODS IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED.

THESE ARE EXACTLY THE SAME AS RB25DET'S JUST HIGHER C/R PISTONS. I'LL GIVE IT UP FOR A REASONABLE PRICE.

The block is different, I think. The block isnt tapped for the Oil & coolant lines for the turbo.

The head and everything inside is the same, but the intake is different also. The motor uses smaller injectors also, I think 270's. That is how mine is anyway.

I got a RB25DE from a Stagea, AWD, I was thinking of keeping some things, but the block is different.

ITS OK, I MADE SURE OF IT BEFORE BUYING IT. ESSENTIALLY ALL I NEED IS THE CRANK, AND I NEED TO GET A GOOD SET OF AFTERMARKET RODS. I THINK THE STAGEA ARE ALITTLE DIFFERENT BECAUSE THEY ARE AWD.

Ok there are several differences between RB25DE and R25DET engines. First of all the blocks are the same. Both blocks are taped for oil feed lines but some are not taped for oil return lines. NA blocks to not have piston coolers aka (oil squirters) in them and they are also not taped for them either. RB25DE have high compressions in them and DETs don't. The DET pistons are no stronger than DE pistons. Both motors have the same connecting rods and crank. New RB25DE and DET have variable timing heads and olders ones do not. The blocks are also different for the two types of heads. The heads will bolt up to either block but one water jacket lines in the block will not line up.

I am sure everything you said is correct, except the part about head interchangability. I just put an RB25 DE head on my RB25DET and EVERYTHING on the head is exactly the same. The head gaskets are EXACTLY the same. EVERYTHING lines up on it. There are at least 2 different head gaskets for the RB25DET that I know of, so maybe I got one you didnt see. If the cranbk & rods are the same, I will save them. My block doesnt have the coolant line for the turbo tapped either on the LT RR.

I have been running the DE head on my DET for about a week without any problems.
