On the verge of getting my Coupe.. Emissions Question

I live in California (going to college) but am staying with family in Colorado over summer. All cars meet the Federal emission standards, but Cali has stricter rules and it is often harder to find out-of-state vehicles that meet them. You usually have to purchase the car in Cali unless it is over a certain number of miles.

Could anyone that does not live in Cali or bought their car from a different state confirm whether the 09 Altima Coupe 2.5S meets Cali's emission standards? I would very much like to buy the car in CO before I head back.

If no one is familiar with it, it can be found on the emissions sticker under the hood. Kinda a lot to ask, but it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 2008 2.5 coupe with pzev emissions. I live in NY which requires 50 State (not Ca.) and was able to locate one in PA. through a dealer who was able to scan inventory for a Ca emissions vehicle. It was the exact one I wanted. The emissions code is under the hood and can be found somewhere in the epa website I think. This way you can check that it is indeed a pzev code. BTW the extra emissions control reduces the horsepower by 5, but not a big deal. I was looking at the accord and the only advantage was the pzev emissions easily available in the accord. I much prefer the Altima coupe, which is really quite a different car. So it all worker out. I had to speak with a sales manager as the salesman didn't have a clue to what I was asking. Good luck.
