Hello All,

I just bought a Coupe and freakin love it. This is my first Nissan and so far couldn't be happier.

Has anyone had theirs out on a track? I'm definitely going to, but probably not until spring when they open back up around here.

My buddy who drives a Lexus IS300 keeps saying that he's going to tear me up in the 3.5l Coupe... I think it will be close.

2008 Nissan A/C :HP: 270 0-60: 5.8 ~5.7 Type: Coupe Engine: 3.5 V6Curb Weight: 3020 lbs Lbs. per HP: 11.2

2007 Lexus IS 350 :HP: 306 0-60: 5.3 Type: Sedan Engine: 3.5 V6 Curb Weight: 3527 Lbs. Per HP: 11.5

If you're the better driver then you will be able to beat him, but if he makes perfect shifts then you will lose on a straight line , but don't give up hope, there's a 448hp turbo kit coming out in the beginning of next year! (2008)

The 3.5 is 3205/man6spd, 3271/CVT for weight , 3020 is the 2.5 weight. If you compare a Lexus IS350 to a 3.5A/c the Lexus has the upperhand 306 HP with 277 Lb/torque and the big thing "RWD" it would win hands down. As for the Lexus IS300 they don't even make it anymore and it has a weak 215 HP, off the line it would lose, on a track hard to say RWD VS FWD it would come down to driver.

I really want to go to the track this summer but ive never been to one. I dont know how to even "go".Ive looked at all the tracks nearby but they seem like u have to rent the track.. The closest one to me wants 500$/hour, 2 hr min.. Thats ridiculous.

How much do track days nomrally cost?
