Correct . He ran for NY Governor several years ago as a Libertarian but dropped out when he couldn;t skirt the financial disclosure rules. After he dropped out , he ended up supporting the Republican nominee.AZhitman wrote:

He's been supportive of the Republican Party at times. His love of the free market, smaller government, less taxation, the death penalty and increased self-reliance are very conservative (as could be his "racist" and occasionally demeaning remarks towards "protected-classes").
He has also been critical of the Right, most notably with his "jihad on Bush".
He claims Libertarianism, but when you're a professional blabbermouth, that means nothing. He's also claimed to be an Independent, and supported candidates from both parties.
