On the road

Ok i have been trying to get my s13 on the road this summer and i finely got it on the road and slapt some plates on it but now i hear a Little knocking lifters and it's bothering me and i just change the oil with a stabilizer in the change.I don't now but hopefully it goes away and lubes up the lifters.

It might be the timing chain guides...open her up and rip them out lol

I used 10w 30 is that the right oil and i put Lucas stabilizer.What you think i should do see if the knocking goes away and hope the stabilizer works

10w 30 or 10w 40 are both good for use in the KA

shouldent need the stablizer tho. If u got new oil in it and its still knocking check the timing guides, the top one at the very least to make sure its not riding on the timing chain.

why would anyone put lucas in anything all it does is cover stuff up...... its a 90w-140 oil your pouring in you know

Ok i found the problem its the rocker arm making a lot of noise so i read up on the tech pages and i am going to take out the rockers,but now i need some torque specs on the rocker arm assembly its for a ka24e can some one help me out with that.I do not have a book for it.

Re-read that and pay close attention to the emphasize area.

I was on it for about 1 1/2 hours and i didn't see anything on the torque specs on the rocker arms?
