I do not have one yet....hoping to purchase a G35 Sedan by end of Jan...but I have a question on their "Sport Tuned Suspension Package" from Infiniti. I was wondering if the package/springs lower the car at all or if the shock bodies are shorter. If so by how much lower?

Thanks

From what I can see, my car is no lower than a g35 w/o sport suspension. I must say the ride with the sport suspension is beautiful. It's some what firm, but very enjoyable on the other hand. Car corners like it is on rails. I was truely impressed and still am.

Without looking in any FSMs....... i bet the difference is sway bars..... Thats what nissan does to offer "better handling"... its the cheapest and easiest.

I know that the springs with the performance upgraded suspension (05 year) have a higher spring rate. Something like 315lb/in in front and 427lb/in in the rear. I think the 06 would have the same upgrade numbers.

I was looking to lower and upgrade the springs, but there is only one spring combo that would increase both the front and rear rates while lowering (this includes what I have seen for the Z)

Remember that you cant increase the spring rates without increasing the damping rates on the shock absorbers..... Its kind of like trying to stop a swinging sledgehammer with a piece of paper... The shocks are there to stop the springs from bouncing..... It will get really bouncy and your springs will wear out if you increase spring rates too much...

Progressive springs are golden, IMO.
