on limited slip differential

i have own this car for the las 5 years 1992, and i have not done a differential oil change, but recently it sounds like my rear tires get stuck when i park, it feels like i have the parking brake on, is this because it may not have oil or it could be something else. by the way I'm doing the oil change this weekend but i wanted to ask maybe i need something else.
