Hi I just got my car going and the dam glow gauges keep going on and off.I took the cluster out to see if there in a wire loose but everything seems fine, what i do know is there is some sort of a relay that goes to the gauges and a switch,is there any way i can test to see if the the relay is bad and by-pass it,or what do you think?

Idk, what you mean by "glow" gauges but I'm assuming it's your cluster?

Check all your fuses and relays. Make sure your battery terminals are tight too.

Ok so i know my cluster is working because the needles are on and it lights up in the back of my aftermarket glow gauges that are blue.My question is i fallowed the wires to the aftermarket ones and there's a relay but its in a sealed plastic box and it doesn't say anything,is there any way i can check if the relay on my aftermarket one is bad?

its not a relay its a power inverter. the glow light are very sensitive to voltage changes, this can cause them to turn on and off. mine were originally wired to a flat membrane switch that turned them on. after i wired them to my main light switch no more problems. do they look like this?

such speedy-fast looking gauges turn off intermittently to aid in straight line acceleration and also for drift.

less light = less weight in the car. light gets caught in your eyes, and weighs you down, thus weighing your sweet motorcoach down, so when the grandmas-night-light color rave happens, its for your own speedy-racer goodness, not a problem with the system

hope this helps.

Next time you have a thought, just let it go. That would be more helpful. god forbid someone does something to a car that the masses don't approve of. Oh wait that's why they call it customization. This place is going downhill fast.

im not "the masses" last i checked, but the compliment was nice :D

i dont like where this place is going either. but last i checked, theres only a handful of build threads on here, and even fewer "regular" members here.

builds:MineWhitecometsIlovemyrhs13'shbpignosedriftboy07blackzenkibumnah

maybe im forgetting some others. but all the other threads are full of newb crap and useless drool.

here, ill help in this thread:

go back to your stock gauges which look/work fine and dont blind you.

put red or amber lights in, easier on the eyes, unlike blue/green which is the WORST (FACT) color for your eyes at night.
