OMG... what I'm going to do to this car!!!

I went to a U pull it junkyard today to get parts to fix my daughters car.

$50 All U Can Carry Saturday! Sweet deal! I think I walked out with $500 worth of parts for $50! Anyway..

I've been to several local junkyards and haven't found ANY 300zx's...

But look what I found today -



Not sure what year, but it is/was an auto 2+2. She had already been picked over pretty good but there are still lots of parts on her. I got the "heater mode motor" I'd been looking for and a bunch of odds and ends I thought would be worth having.

I'm going to go back and get more off her, but was wondering what you guys here think are good "spare parts" I should try to get due to expense/frequency of repair.

I was tempted to take the plastic interior parts but it is off a 2+2 so I don't think they would fit my 2+0.

Again, any suggestions on what I should take off her would be appreciated. My car is running fine, but important spare parts would be nice to have!

Also, does anyone know if the door off a 2+2 will fit a 2+0?

I should note, the motor is in her. I'm thinking at a minimum I'm going to strip the injectors off her. Her calipers are still on her too. The hood and nose are gone.

injectors is a good idea. id grab the front cowls as well if they are there. weather striping .

Actually it was silver.. just not a good picture.

Yeah I took the weatherstripping. Was trying to get the injectors but didn't have the know how on how to remove the plenum without instructions, so I figured I could try and get them next time. Cats had been cut out.

I was thinking maybe the brake calipers. The ac condensor is on it, but I'm not sure it would "store" well until I might need it.

I thought the same thing at first glance.

Grab the alternator, ac compressor and any other little random tid bits.

Also grab the powersteering pump, reservoir, PS lines, pump mounting bracket and tensioner.

You can sell it to someone that needs it for a hicas delete, you should be able to make some money and help someone out.
