I have seen things like that--- They used to do it with early 90s cadillacs. They would do that exact same thing, and they were called "flower cars", since they were apparently used to transport flowers.

it sure is interesting. a rear strut tower brace would be easy since they moved the gas tank. even with it's custom look i wouldn't pay over 12k for a 90 with 160000 miles on it. i could buy two 90's with less miles for less than that.

That thing can't be real. I see no use for a vehicle like that.

I think that within a few years, there won't be any decent Q45s left. Either they will die because of owner abuse or they'll be turned into somekind of freak show.

I wonder what the creators of the Q45 would say if they saw that thing.

No, no, no. You do that to fugly Mustangs and other American cars, ala El Camino and the Ford Ranchero. When Chevy and Ford stopped making those, it almost (I said ALMOST) made sense for the resourceful American Population to make their own versions.

But no, No, NO, that's just WRONG. An injustice to humanity.

Does Ripley's have a place in New Orleans?

Whoa.. interesting setup they got there. Doesn't look as weird as the RX-7 limo, but it ranks up there with the Mustang truck.

And another shot. I'm sure most of you folks have already seen it. There was a thread about this Mustang (if that's what you call it, or at least it use to be a Mustang).

Will this madness ever end?

For that Mustang Truck, is it just a Mustangs front?

Actually, if I recall, it was a Mustang front end welded on to a Explorer chassis and with a Ranger truck bed. A lot of work went into the creation of that monstrosity.

Couldn't agree more.

Definately a bad day in Q-land... first this damn freak of nature and then I saw this today... :(

Almost stopped to find out where it was going in case I need parts or see if they wanted to buy Q1. but even I'm not that much of a vulture. The whole front end was toast. Looked like two high school guys kicked it too hard in the *** around a curve and met the ditch and trees.

Still faster, more attractive, and more reliable than an Escalade EXT.

that is an absolute disaster.

very very sad that someone would 1) do that 2) admit they like it and 3) try to pawn it off on someone else with bad taste.

That Q's pimp! haha It needs a more agrresiive / lower front end on it though.

Seriously I want to turn a s-chassis into a truck somday.... Actually I want to turn a Z into a truck as the local Z clubs dont like the lil truck powered S-chassis'. My goal is to bastardize a 240z with a ka awd and bed. Ill then put some frontier badges on it and roll to the next Z meet...

Hmmmm would this rancher-Q or an el-silvino be able to run in the scca truck class?

TURNING A Q45 INTO A TRUCK IS A CRIME. WHAT WANTS $12k FOR THAT THING? I'D PAY $14.95 FOR SOME FRONT END XTRA PARTS

Everyday, I am on the lookout for other Q45s during my commute.

When I do see one in the distance, I get excited hoping that it is a clean, well-maintained example. But as I get closer, my joy turns to dejection as I see another worn-out, torn-up Q.

It seems to me that most people do not appreciate the design of the car. They just want something to satisfy their ego.

Maybe, if someone put the first generation Q in a movie, things might change. How about "The Fast and the Qurious"?

Just kidding. :D
