Initial D on DVD suncoast add ends with

"DRIVE, DRIFT, DREAM!"

It's official 100% now that drifting is mainstream...I can't wait until the ID movie is in theatres and everyone flocks like they did for F&F. There will be so many accidents that night.

you don't have to hope dude. it's bad. it's so bad i listened for 10 seconds, flipped it back to japanese, and laughed at my roomie for paying 15 bucks for 3 episodes with english whilst i downloaded every subbed episode ever for free.

I don't get rabid about the thing, if it's on I'll watch it. Japanese guys can get pretty stupid with it, one told my wife if she didn't watch it she wasn't a true car enthusiast, she asked if he wanted to race he said no:D

I think the new anime kids, who watch that cartoon network anime stuff, will go out in the mom's minivans and have drift competitions. It's pretty sad, that someone is going to end up dying, but the blood is not on our hands.

well, on the plus side, the two AE86 corolla hatches my friend owns will only rise in value.

I think he' gonna give one a panda paintjob and a Fujiwara Tofu sticker and throw it on ebay.

Bah tokyo pop really dropped the ball with this. They even edited the subbed versions that are on the disk. I love dubs myself and when I found out that they completly destroyed the series with their dub it only pissed me off further. Bootlegs is all I got to say if you want dvd. Anime Cartoon makes a really nice set for about 60-80 bucks.
