alright so heres the problem, i got my new license plate leds in the mail today so i decided to go out and change em. So i switched it up, (i did this before 2x already and no problems) but today i go and try to switch em and it doesnt light up. And i was wondering so i gave up cuz i had to go to work. So when it comes to nighttime i try to fix it and it doesnt work but i also realized my taillights werent working either. again i was like so at that time i was pretty confused. I get into my car and start to drive home and i realized another thing! The Letters on the dash wasn't lit up, none of the words were lit(the whole dashboard). But. my brake lights work Hazard lights. Gauge light, those all work cept my taillights and dash. Its like some parts of my car ran outta power or something. i tried resetting the battery and when i tried to start it up the tailights blinked for a sec. I haven't heard anyone on the forum with this problem before so can some of you guys let me know whats up.

i cant drive like this

you probably put the led's in backwords and blew a fuse. Check your fuse box under the steering wheel. I had a similar problem when I did mine. Found 1 burnt fuse, replaced it and put the led's in the right way. No more problems. Sorry can't remember which fuse just check the fuse mad on the cover.

Sounds like you have a blown fuse. If you cant find/replace it yourself, put in the stock tail light bulbs, take it back to Nissan, and claim ignorance.

I don't know if it blew all the fuses. I only blew one. But one blown fuse can hurt alot of stuff. Think of it like christmas lights. One bulb goes out and the whole string stops working except maybe a few lights.

Actually, chances are they would try to blame your electrical problems on your after market HID's. As Sean mentioned, electrical systems in new cars like these are tied in EVERYWHERE. They split these circuits up like this so you don't loose everything on one component at once. Like your entire instrument panel, or your entire exterior lighting system, just parts of each at a time so the car isnt completely dead where it lyes. Chances are you blew a fuse for a split portion of the lighting circuit. Remember to check the fuses under you hood on the right side of your engine bay and the ones under the dash.

sorry but im not good with this electrical stuff, not at all lol. So when i do check the fuses how can i tell if it blown out? And if i do find em could i just replace them by myself to fix this whole situation? One more thing, could this be a huge problem for me, blown fuses? Easily fixable if its a blown fuse by someone who knows about this electric business?

never thought i'd being having such a problem because of small led lights sigh.

thanks again adidas and infantry for the help.

It is a very easy fix. Pull off the cover to the fuse box, and look at the map. Check the descriptions and see which best fits the problems you are having. There is a little piece in there to help pull them out as well. Look at the fuses once you pull them out, look for any little burn or scorch marks. probable a little brown or black on the edge of the fuse. If you still can't figure out which one it is. Go to a auto parts store or home depot and buy a fuse tester. Should cost like $5. There areextra fuses mixed in with the active fuses. Just look at the map and you can see which ones are the extra ones. Make sure if you replace a 15 wat fuse, replace it with a 15 wat fuse. It is all very easy, if you have any more problems ask and I will see if I can help some more.

LOL you are a riot!

Just look in the fuse box... its a simple fix... It should be blatantly obvious which one is fried... and if you can read (sometimes tough in my red led interior lol) the fuse map shows you where the extra ones are, you shouldnt need to buy anything at all!
