Ok first off, HAPPY NEW YEAR to all. Guys, I am this close to taking my 02 GLE Maxima to an open field and putting it on FIRE. My love for maxima is running out. Ok, my stock suspennsion went bad and i purchased TOKICO HP BLUES on ebay to replace them. Initially they felt good but later started feeling the sharp shock whenever i drive in a pothole or minor bump. It even sometimes shift the car when this happens. Friend told me to change the STRUT MOUNTS. I did. Initially, it was good but now the same crappy problem came back. Am desperately seeing u guys help who is knowledeable in this area. I miss that bouncing feeling wen am driving in a pothole. Now its all sharp shocking feeling all in my a** when I drive. HELP GUYS.

Switch back to stock struts/shocks or go with an adjustable unit like Illuminas or AGXs, or coil overs.

i've got the Tokico blues...and they are treating me well!

the knock is a motor mount...i replaced the front and passenger side motor mounts right after I installed the Tokico struts and it took the knock away!

How hard was it to put the motor mount on and did you have to do anything to the computer? Mine is clunking now and needs to be chaged quick.
