I have tried prying that bad boy off and it just wont go. I feel like im going to rip out the internals of my e-brake. Am i just being a little b**** about it? Or am i actually going to break something :gotme Maybe you haven't had the same problem but you can at least give me some worthless information about what you think is going to happen. :bigthumb:

im pretty sure seeing that its a push on/push off type action you might break it pulling on it.

I'm getting that shift knob also, im buying both at the same time. It is sexy. Is that their shift boot? I am not buying a different boot as i already have a Nismo one with Red stitching, but if that is theirs thats pretty rad.

be especially careful man, I yanked mine off cause I was aggravated with it and now my ebrake is not the same. You can try twisting til it spins decently then try removing it. Like you said heat could also help.

What happened with mine is i pulled the entire metal rod that the stock button is attached to, out of the hollow ebrake handle. then I had to fit it back in and bend it and it's just, not, the same.

Goodluck!

oh ya ps- send me an email if you want to sell your nismo boot.

david i think you're just being a little b**** about the whole thing. slam it in first like you'd do with a roll of quarters and yank it out like a 12 year old. then we'll drive to the diner for california clubs and cranberry juice.

JT ~ I may be willing to sell it but it would have to be around $35-$50 because it is that legit and also the fact that the shift boot i would be buying is like $70 :ohno:

Mine just pops off sometimes.

Try some liquid to lube it off. Or if that doesn't work, just use a hacksaw to cut it off.

the e brake is not complicated. i pulled the whole rod out of mine trying to get the spin knob off and i put it back together fine. no problems. wiggle it up and down while your pulling it. IT WILL COME (or youll pull the knob out)
