A lot of insurance companies give 1 free anual glass replacement. Although that might only apply for the windshield, not sure.Sarcanglk wrote:I think my deductible is 1000
Yeah I hoped you learned your lesson, lol.Sarcanglk wrote:Worst part is this all could have been avoided if only I went to a Eagles game and skipped my night class I guess this kind of stuff happens when I try to be a good student :P
Bad idea - if you try to do that, they probably won't tell you; claims are determined at the time of loss. Most compaines claims departments don't entertain hypotheticals (I know the company i work for doesn't). You got lucky trying that...Infantry1327 wrote:That sucks bro, I would call your insurance company (but don't tell them who you are) Then ask them your question hypotheticly and see if they have a special deductable for glass. Not telling them who you are will make sure they can't put some kind of little comment on policy. It has worked for me before.
you shoulda went to the game cuz I was there! it was a pretty good game. sry to hear bout your car bro. I hope everything works out w it. it was probably jealous civic drivers.Sarcanglk wrote:Yea the tickets were 100 level seats on the 50. I just thought of all the money I would waste by missing a once a week class and the fact it was the first class. Either way it looks like I'm paying for the decision.

(blows is the new "sucks"). but anyway. it really depends on your deductable. its different from the one for collision usually. most times its about half the cost of collision actually. my deductable is 250 and when my old civic was broken into i fibbed and said my aftermarket stereo was moe than it actually was. in your case you could say you had a laptop in there, maybe a pair of expensive sunglasses.
