Probably because if you'd used the search box for this instead of freaking out, you would know that you can't get aftermarket headers for the R50..no one cares about us. Second...dude, if it's cracked as badly as you say it is, have you not noticed..oh, I don't know...an exhaust leak? If you need a new manifold, just go buy a set. And use those fancy new gaskets for the job. Oh, and next time instead of using a bunch of chat/text lingo that makes me want to find and punch babies, how about a legible topic title that ID's your problem, so I can know if I even want to waste my time reading it? Thanks.

wow.... the qx4 forum sucks.

op good luck... but honestly oem headers > mostly everything else.

you can get get a welder to weld a seem unto it. but otherwise is garbage.

Having been a member for a while, this is one of the things that really irritate me:Somebody starting a new topic with the header reading "Help, please", or some other dumb statement like that.SixGuns is right on with this one. That, and not identifying what year or model vehicle he/she wants advice on.

Here we go again, another random popping in to insult our forum. Get the f*@# out if you don't have anything to contribute!

Along time ago when i was searching to buy a first gen qx4(97-2000) i also looked to see what kind of aftermarket support or power adders out there as i did find the first gen qx4's to be under powered. If memory serves me right, i believe HKS does or did make aftermarket headers for the vg33 as well as a cat-back exhaust system. There is also a supercharger kit that comes stock in the 2002 supercharged nissan xterra's and frontier's that can be used for your ride. As i realize this post is a few years old, i came across this as trying to see if other people have had problems with cracked exhaust manifolds as i have a noticeable leak which is not from the problematic stock resonators. Anyway hope you find some insight if that is the direction you want to go with your qx4.

Please use a subject line that tells us what your problem is. You will get a more positive response.

"Exhaust manifold cracked, what do I do now?" would be be cool.

I'd be more worried about WHY the exhaust manifold cracked than what to do about it.
If you don't fix the underlying problem, it WILL happen again.

Cracked exhaust manifold problems are rare on your vintage. There should be plenty
of good junkyard manifolds. Once you figure out WHY.

By the end of this year i will be having an exhaust shop custom make headers for me that are a bit larger, and run bigger downpipes etc, it will be dual out ,or i may throw on quad tips.

sucks that theres no aftermarket ones, i searched for about 2-3 days straight.

I totaly forgot about this. All I did was go to napa and buy a oem manifold. I had it for a few days after I got it, didn't put it in right away. I was driving and hit a bump and my manifold broke in half so it sounded sooo bad, so when I got home I changed it out.
