Does FL have emissions? ANd is it like the great state (sarcasm) of North Carolina, and start with 1996 vehicles. (why I dont know.)

If so turbo the 240. If not, then do what ever you want. Something to think about.

It starts with 1996 because of ODBII standards that started on those models.

just to give you an esimate...a buddy in the DNE has an Avenir motor with a GTiR manifold and a T25 pushing little boost in his 200sx ser. the motor is pretty stock, as is the car. with a HUGE exhuast leak, the guy put down 205hp to the wheels. with the leak fixed, it should avhe been around 210 or higher. and that was on little boost. he also ran a 13.5 with bald street tires.

he's still using the avenir manifold and he ran a 13.2. he ran a 13.6 on his first run (against me). his turbo se-r is scary to drive when the weather's good, i can't imagine what it's like when it's wet.

... Nah see your missing something about this...

With a second car. You now have time to tear that 240 down to the frame and do it right!

But thats me. :)

exactly. If I could just buy that sentra se-r that my friend is selling, I could take the time to fix my 240 (considering I have two downed cars already)

Boost the 240. It's heavier and needs the power. You will have more fun in that car. The 200 is a little lighter so bolt on's and suspension should take care of it. Maby a little spray.

Both. :D Turbo-ing that SR shouldn't be that expensive, cheap logger or eBay or JGY, a used T25, SMIC, and BOV from somebody's clip and some form of cheap piggy-back AFR control and you'll be happily boosting 8psi and still maintaining reliability as a daily, and alos turbo the 240, but make it more of a beast.

supposedly they fit, but its tight. i think they would be the funniest thing. i wouldnt go sleeper, in the normal terms, i would go ricer sleeper: bright green paint with pink graphics, wide body kit cause i would ahve to run some wider front wheels, and by wider wheels i mean stock wheels on another car cause metro wheels are like 4" wide. lets see, i'd paint the IC black, and keep it pretty hidden, and have two fake fart cans on the back, and have the real exhuast dump under the car or something, or maybe have a replacement pipe for racing that dumps it off the side. not to mention TONS of neons, have like "bright *** racing" spelled out in neons on the back window or something. then laugh my butt off when i smoke expensive V8s and imports.

Turbo the KA in the 240. Keep the 200 pretty stock. It's fun to drive as is (my Sentra is every similar in equipment, so I know exactly what you mean), and thus you ought to keep it that way. Fun, but not so fun that you want to do dumb things. It needs to stay running in order to haul stuff for your 240 :D.

That, and FWD is the world's worst handicap. You can't launch worth poo, you can't get any oversteer going without some major manipulation of braking and steering, and you're front heavy to no end.

thats true... nothing beats RWD.. i dunno i love them both, but to tell you the truth, today i drove around the 200sx all day, and i kinda miss driving my 240.. right now i cant afford another tag for the 240 or the insurance so its gonna sit in my garage untill i get a good paying job...

Nice! Like some of the cool people mentioned before me, I would stick with the 240. RWD is just so much more enjoyable. But in all serious, I'd pick whichever will be the most reliable and last you the longest. I'm guessing the 200sx has lower mileage and might be in better condition, so that of course is a plus.

Now all you need to do is post pics... :)

the 240 may be RWD and handle well, etc etc. but damn dude, a turbo'd 200sx will be a big enjoyment.

let the 240 sit, 5spd swap it, pull the motor, build it, turbo it, then have a hardcore ka-t, all while having a really nice 'beater' in se-r clothes.
