just got off the phone with ARB, i am talking about OME 922

GUY said that when you initially install the springs you will get about 1inch lift after about 500 miles it will settle down to 1/2 inch

the reason people say they get more than 1/2 and more like 1inch is that the old springs have sagged down a half inch so in reality you gain 1 inch

the other side is the spring rate

the factory springs were way to soft and caused excessive body roll and bottoming out, so they bumped it up. I don't know what stock spring rate is but, these coils are rated at

140 Lb/Inch spring rate

Best story ever.

some people like to know exactly what they are buying before making a purchase. I am not trying to tell a cool story, simply broadcast some information on products for r50s. I am pretty sure that's the purpose of a forum, get off my nuts.

i got them,

they good, made in Australia, designed for the outback, they stiffer than stock but still leave you room for flex.

your other option is the 4x4parts springs which are incredibly stiff, they are strictly "for show" since they put you at the top of the struts travel - you have absolutely no down travel with the 4x4parts springs. They are more for mall crawlers like 01silvepathy who want to look cool but dont really care about offroad capability and agility.

You guys are killing me... For what it is worth, I have OME Dakar Leaf Springs on my other ride, ARB's quality is great, their customer service is even better.

I put the springs on and unless they will super settle it looks like about a 3inch lift

I had a little less than one fist gap. From tire to fender flare now two full fists Look like ibwill have to get front to match
