i was still in the planning stage of getting lifted springs, but this morning, when i was driving around, a prius pulled up next to me at a redlight, and i tell ya, either priuses are getting higher these days or my coils are starting to give way. still when i saw that look in that girls eyes, looking straight at me, not up to me, it kinda ruins the feeling of driving a higher car. So i am speeding up the new coils project and want to get OME HD coils up front, and medium coils on the rear. AC and ARB website lists them as .5 lift but rockyroad lists them at 1.75? either way, would i need new camber bolts or "after market wheels with at least 3.75" backspacing" ? or can i just install them with my new struts and be good to go? and do oem coils eventualy lower by them selves over time? i swear it used to be up higher.

oh yeah, and would a OME lift make my stock wheels look small, the tires i have on there are pretty new (bad planning on my part) and i dont want to get new ones, i know people try to get 32, 33" after the lift, but id just be throwing away the money i spent on the costco tires.

Anybody ever notice that the Ome coils are a hair to small in diameter. I noticed mine do not sit 100% flush with the base of the spring mount. We talking small like 1/8 of an inch. But either way it ain't touching all the way around. Whatever just curious

Monkey, you should get the springs through ruggedrocksoffroad.com. They're the only site (that I know of) that lists the correct part numbers. Front HDs are 928, not 923.

Boosters make the ride very uncomforatable.

At the very cheapest get some spacers

I read on npora I believe that Jeep YJ springs fit but the lift was pretty substantial

If you knew anything about vehicles you would know that Jeep YJ's use leaf springs :tisk:

Yeah sure you can use them if you want to make shackle mounts on the body and weld them onto the axle :rotfl
