This runner should participate in the handicap/disable Olympics. not so in the current one in London.

The simple fact that he is using artificial mechanical help, such is enough to disqualify him from participation. What is next...an amputee arms guy with mechanical hands boxing and smashing his opponents?... lol

If the equipment is designed to perform better than human legs, than it would. Otherwise there is no need to separate this guy.

nah, there's nothing that can artificially rival human hand speed like that.

never be able to protect himself or land.

anybody that has a problem with blade runner in the olympics can get f*** in my opinion.

Imagine the outrage for a perfectly healthy track athlete to compete in the paralympics....

This I'd watch! Imagine Gabby Douglas weighing in at 400lbs of pure muscle and can give Usain Bolt a run for his money in the 100 meters. Thats what I'm talking about!

A man with no legs trained hard enough to first learn how to stand again, then to walk, and THEN decided to train for the Olympics AND MADE IT. I don't give a flying F if it did give him an unfair advantage. Dude's a stud. :dblthumb:
Totally agree! I think the issue is he's too fast for paraolympics. Add in the fact that he's competitive in the Olympics and it's a no brainer. If he was running the 400 in 30 seconds, then I would believe he had an unfair advantage. He made it to the 400m semis, which he said was his goal. He had a chance to run the 4x400m but his teammate fell before he got the baton.

I dont see how you cant like track and field. Its the purest form of sport. IMO Ashton Eaton (decathlon winner) is the best athlete in the world. He's no Ronaldo or Lebron or Peyton, but none of those guys can do what he does.
