Ugh.

New motor at 130K? BS. If it is true, be ready for everything else to fail soon.

I didn't care much about the exterior i knew i was gonna have to replace panels and get paint. After about a week of having the car i got tired of driving a car that was 20 different shades of gray so i wet sanded it scuffed it and shot it satin black. I thought it would be cool to splatter some neon colors on the hood and well one thing led to another and i ended up with this....

i picked it up for $1,000 i had extra money from selling some turntables so i figured i couldn't go wrong with picking this thing up as long as it ran good. just bought it with one intention to get sideways and have fun with the build.

haha, that seat cover was pretty gross tossed it along with pretty much all the interior .

i was kinda skeptical about the engine being replaced at 130k too, but the engine has markings from the shop and it ran way good so i figured i had nothing to worry about hasn't given me any problems yet.

i already got tired of having a black 240...so i decided to take it apart sand it down again and do a little body workhere's the current pictures of the car

since the car was hit in the right side of the rear bumper the bumper support was a b**** to take off.. its ok though not like im aiming for a perfect car i know its gonna get crashed or s***s just gonna happen to the body.

picked up some over fenders from my friend just waiting for my paycheck so i can order my wheels and get my exhaust made.and the color on the over fenders is the color the car will be once the body work is done.

i really did like the flat black w/random splatters. gave it some character, and it's good to see progress being made.

i do have a t25 that was suppose to go on my other build but never did.. maybe down the road ill go that route.

I'm planning on painting the interior gloss white with color splatters so the splatters are here to stay. haha. Just have to finish taking off the sound deadening.

Looking good so far, I really like the color. Way better than the flat black with splashes. Is that a Civic with Diamond Racing wheels in the background?

yes it is, thats my other car.

here's a picture of the interior so far did the dry ice thing but i ran out of dry ice about 90% of the way so i just decided its good enough. started rattle canning it black i was gonna do white but white shows all the little imperfections so black it is. also threw the harness through the that big hole behind the drivers seat to hide it away. i hate how it looked just all out in the open. ill be cutting up the rest of the harness that isnt gonna be used like for the antenna rear wiper 3rd brake light stuff like that.
