Hi... I'm oldeskewltoy - aka Dan, professional cylinder head porter.

I've been working on automobiles for the better part of 4 decades. Below is a mostly complete list of the cars I, or my wife has owned... this list is about 2 years old now.....

For the past 20 years I've been dabbling in the rwd Toyota arena having owned a few AE86s, and currently owning "Surreptitious", my 2200#, 170hp, 32 MPG, 6 speed equipped... AE71.

As to my professional experience porting cylinder heads - Here is a Google search showing OST port work threads

Pictures are always good... so here are a few......

Ford Mazda 2.2 head (Probe and MX6) before and after on the exhaust ports...

Toyota 4AGE intake ports/bowls - left side work mostly complete

I've also been "digging" into a high port SR20 head as well.....

So... why am I "new" here....

I have a client from Europe who is asking me to port a CA18DE 4 port head. So... I've joined to see if I can acquire said head... and as a "bonus", I will show my procedures for porting it, and I'll show the results... :dblthumb:

I imagine there is a decent mount of work here for ported CA heads. Might be worth sticking around. May get a few more jobs. :)

I got ' Intel'd ' here. My wife is an engineer. We're here forever now lol. I love it, but I don't live in the city.

I definately need to get a look at that Toyota while you're here. Have I mentioned I'm a photographer? (Do I need to in Portland? lol)

Never been. Just moved here. Where and when? Last one I went to here was kids in beamers with neon lights and loud mufflers. Meh.

What's the significance of the red door?

The Red Door meet is a Sunday evening meet in downtown Portland - 111 SE Belmont Ave - VERY close to the exit from I5 to I84.
