Hey there, I was in the salvage yard today picking up an engine coolant reservoir for my 1992 240SX(got one from a 280ZX), but I was looking around and saw 2 1985 300ZX Non-Turbos sitting up on blocks with brakes and calipers that looked very new, and they got me to thinking. Is the 4 bolt pattern on the 1985 300ZX the same as that found on the S13, and if so, could the calipers fit in with stock 15's also, or would I need more wheel to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hmm...never heard about this.

BTW, your signature makes no sense. "SR or KA coming in December" if your KA is not coming till Dec, then what the hell is in there now?

He's planning some sort of KA-T or SR in that time span probably.

Either way, you need to verify the 4-lug is 4x114.3 (which it is) Then you need to make sure the brake lines have the same fittings as either the Z32 caliper or our 240SX caliper. Hub fitment *might* be an issue as there are differences in hub size, but more than likely it should fit. The Zeds come standard with either 15s or 16s, so fitment might not be too much of an issue. You might want to core in the calipers for some rebuilt ones though. I don't trust used calipers.

Hey there, I think I will need to go and measure the caliper spacing, but i'll have to wait until sunday to do so, so if there are any volunteers to go and try it, i would appreciate the help. Anyways, I was planning on rebuilding the calipers in the instance that they should fit. As for my signature, I did mean KA-T w/ rebuild or an SR by december, sorry for any confusion.
