I swapped the Rays from my Old Q, to Da Beast ™.

During the process, I cleaned every inch of the wheels and then felt it was necessary to take some pics.

Time to whore it up a bit

A very clean look! Clearly, the 33 to 35mm offset works pretty well for a Q45 and a 8.5" wide wheel.

Yes, but I'd rather have a wider tire (255 or 265) and more offset.

Yeah agreed... I think upon further examinaiton 265-35 will work on my rears.

But having about 43mm offset in the rear would be golden for running a 275 or larger

Honestly, I haven't really got on it, and I haven't swicthed the ECU to the most agressive setting, but it's fast. It feels fastest from 60 to >100. It sounds great and is rock solid. No doubt it's a blast to drive .

I personally like the wheel choice. The powder-coated 350Z wheels looked good, but it became too monochromatic and took away from the Beauty that the car is. The wheels you have on now add an element of contrast that benefits the entire package of the car. Good move on the wheels! Are you going to sell the 350Z wheels?-EQwhipD

Well, I have 2 cars (both G50's) and 6 sets (1 -15" BBS, 1 - off brand 17", 1 - F50 17", 1 - Z33 17", 1 - Murano 18" and the Rays) of wheels, so they're all for sale . Let me know if you're interested in any.

I'm in the market for some wheels Rex, let me know how much you're asking and maybe some photos. Only intested in the 17" or larger, those Rays are really nice. Email me if you like.

P.S. I'm on a tight budget so be gentle

Looks really nice, moderately low, I just don't like all the little dimples on the spokes, but the car overall looks great.

The cheapo silver ones, I'd let go for $200 + shipping (w/tires), and 2 of the tires are still good enough to use for 5k as fronts, IMHO. BFG KDWS 245/45/17's

The 17" Q45's, I'd let go for $275 + shipping, I think they'd look nice once you strip the paint off of them.

The 17" 350Z's (powder coated a gloss black), I'd let go for $300 + shipping, the fronts have plenty of tread and the rears would last 2k on a car without a 4.08 rear end . RE040's.

The 18" Murano 5 spokes, I'd let go $350 + shipping. I have (slightly) used tires (Yoko's, Conti's, BFG's and Pirelli's) that could go with these for additional $$, but you'd have to have them mounted.

The 18" Rays, I'd let go for $1000 + shipping, less than 5k on the tires. RE040's.(see pics above)

I think that's about it ... oh yeah, and the 15" BBS OEM wheels, no tires.

Rex. The car looks great. Very classy, elegant, and with some posture.

I don't mind the dimples, I wouldn't mind if they were not there, but they are NOT ugly.

Are the 18 Rays in these photos?

Rex,Well, the Rays are definitely out of my budget The "cheapo" rims I might be interested in. What about the other 2 tires, are they totally gone? And what is the model and size / offset of those rims?

Any idea on shipping to 85040 in Phoenix, AZ?

What are you gonna do for wheels on your Q's if you sell all these?

So, the "dimples" wheels are the Rays. They sort of look like the Z track wheels that Wes has + I thought that they were gonna stay on the car and that you were NOT selling them.

My habit of "everything is for sale" has rubbed off on Rex i believe!

Anyway, my wheels are the same as his.. Rays 350Z track wheels, he just calls them different things than I do. Remember, his wheels arent like mine because he copied off my idea

I'd have to look at them to see width/offset, but realize the pics are of them on a Q, no spacers or anything.

The other 2 tires are worn "to the wear bars". I'd probably leave them on to simplify shipping and allow you to drive to a tire shop for replacement, but I would strongly recommend against anything more than that. My guess is (cheapest) shipping would be ~$125.

I have 6 total sets, and only 2 cars, I think I've got a while before I have to worry about being tireless .

Yes, sorry for the confusion, but the 350Z Track model wheels are made by Rays Engineering and I interchangeably refer to them as both.

I like them a lot, and would rather sell the other wheels, but with 6 sets, I need get rid of some. Thank goodness I'm not married, I'd be sleeping with all my wheels/tires.

lol, I knew that; the first time I read that you have 6 sets.

For us married folk, it's like let me put that $100 bill in the glove box so when I go to see Robert/ECU, she won't know.

Haven't had a chance to weigh them, no scale at home, but my best guess would be ~40 lbs each. I think at that weight (35-45lbs) your frieght costs are more based on delivery method and package size. I'd cover the front a rear facings of the wheels and wrap the entire tire. Each as a separate parcel.
