I just found a Japanese shop that does customization on various headlights while browsing the web.The address is:

http://www.infinity-18.com/clearlens.html

It would be great if someone can contact them for the group buys that are not only limited to G50s but for Y33s as well. Falk? q45vip? Come on!

"As for the foreign car because also the model which cannot be processed it is please inquire."

Sounds like you would have to ship them a LHD pair, then ship them back. Could be close to $1K.

Didn't someone who had these say the beam focus and thus the intensity went all to hell?

They're pretty much giving you step by step instructions on how to do it.

If you want the crystal lights, all you have to do is get hold of the 94-96 JDM G50 headlights and take them apart. Then put them back together without the inner lenses.

I posted the part numbers for the JDM headlights a while back so people could at least try to get them from a local dealer. I don't think anyone bothered.

The one and only Infiniti dealership in Hawaii was bought out by a certain firm is now run separately from Nissan dealership which was part of it. The sales person told me that they could've order something from Nissan in Japan, but is not possible anymore. I believe many dealerships in other states can possibly run by Nissan, so I'm sure people can order stuff from Japan. It seems to me that there's enthusiasm for this kind of stuffs but I don't know why so few are actually done. Maybe because of their high prices? too lazy or busy to look it up? I don't know... For me, I got mine from Japanese Yahoo auction and was all good.

all you're doing is sanding the ridges out of the lens.
