I played DuckHunt at my house a few days ago. My roommate has one of those 1000+ games built into the controller.

Hm, they didn't do a great job with it though. For one, there's no clay disks, that just sucks. And the ducks move way to fast, it's impossible to get a perfect score. And the flying dogs, just not good... Oh well, still fun!

i remember when i would go over to my neighbors house in like 3rd grade and play that, i always got like halfway up to the screen because they were all older then me, hehe, fun game though, even though we had to blow in it like 10 times for it to work

There is no other console game EVER produced that can compare to the entertainment provided by Duck Hunt/Super Mario Bros.

Do y'all remember the game (i do believe it came with Duck Hunt).. It was the pad that looks like Twister that you run on it... I think it like a track and field thing. That was awesome !!!

Yeah I have that. I have an assload of NES games and a working NES...but I don't have a light gun for duckhunt anymore...

I've also got an original functioning Atari 2600 VCS with a bunch of games...I tell you, Combat is the greatest party game of all time. Especially when one or both players are drunk.

Are you thinking of the PowerPad?

The NES had all kinds of neat-o peripherals.

-PowerPad-PowerGlove-U Force-Maxx-Advantage-ROB the Robot (not making this up)-The Famicom had a disk (FDD) drive. We didn't get one because the US always gets stiffed on games, just like cars:-P

ROB was freakin' badass!! I remember my cousing had one, and I wanted one so bad, but my parents wouldn't let me have (give me) one.

You can still find the odd famicom on ebay. Even more badass-ness!

I've noticed we're both looming pretty large in each of these gaming threads, lol. This and the PS2 one. I've actually got a Famicom, but it's the top-loading AV famicom purchased at the Kyoto Sofmap a few years ago and not opened until about 3 months ago. I had a pair of Super Famicom Jr.s too, just ebayed one, using the other one ("JDM" Version 2 SNES).

I've been trying to sell off some of the game stuff I have duplicates of, lemme know if you're in need of anything.

Yeah, gaming is my other big hobby besides my car. And gaming is cheaper...although I just spent about $500 dollars on it in the last week (Xbox, Fable, Steel Battalion, SB:Line of Contact, MechAssult, Second Sight). And GTA:SA comes out later this month...there goes 50 or 60 more dollars. Then Half Life 2 the beginning of next month (FINALLY--I hope). Another 40 or 50 bucks. Oh, yeah, and the Nintendo DS comes out in a few weeks. That's $150. Plus the $3200 gaming PC I am going to buy. Of course, you don't have to buy tires and get emergency four-wheel alignments for game systems/PC's. And they don't need gas. Or oil, wiper fluid, or any maintenance at all really. That's not to say my Maxima doesn't get its fair share of attention, though. I think my coworkers are tired of my talking about it.

I've got a bad habit of collecting old school games. I pick up most of my NES games from thrift stores / swap meets in the 1-2 buck price range.

I've got some duplicates of stuff too if you guys need anything, drop me a message.

That may be what it's called. I was too young to know what it was called. But that may be it..... It was fun watching my dad and all his friends trying to play that drunk.
