This is an R30 which has had extensive work done to it.(Read: RB30 block, with an RB25 twin cam head!!! That's right, a 3 lt RB)(We had RB30 NA in our VL Holden commodores, which also came out in turbo form in limited numbers)

I used to work with this guy when he owned this car....He now has an R32 GTR.. but I have never seen it, because I left that workplace at around the time he was selling the R30

But, I HAVE been in the R30... and it was the fastest car I have ever been in.It would lose traction, in 5th gear, doing 100km/h, if he pushed the pedal to the boards!!!

I just thought it would be something interesting for you guys to have a look at.Was quite a process to get it to it's final stage, and may never have happened if the HPC coating on his intercooler pipes didnt flake off and grind the bores like sandpaper!!!(The guy must've stuffed up and got some inside the pipes)

Dave (my mate), sued the guy, then used the money to go all out on a new motor combo.

OMG!!

That thing is crazy. And people didnt think the 440's could do that. I love the custom intake mani...... Pimpin ride.

Im doing a RB30 conversion with rb26 head at the moment for a A31 Cefiro. I cant wait till I can go fast again!

Leave it to the ozzies to do that. I dont know why we dont import some of the oldschool!

Thanks for the post mate!

I didn't know that....but I was there when it still had a red top RB20!!!!!then the silver top RB20then the huge HPC coating stuff upthen the new motor build up. ( i helped install the new injectors :p)and the shell is still going around, with the same whels and number plates !!!It now has a silver top RB20(from an R32)

I could be bull ****ting you all... but I'm notIf I have to, I will try to drag the original owner onto NICO, and get him to tell you all about it....I so wanted to buy it.... but I had limited funds... (kids!!!!)It's good to see the car preceeds me!!!Even off boost, it moved pretty quick, which is rare for a car with a large turbo..

Wow. Very cool.

I really like the looks of the R30, especially the front fascia. Reminds me of the 810.
