What are you looking for?Just a daily driver? If so I would steer clear of both of those cars.Try a SE-R sentra or 200sx.In stock form they are real dependable but there is lots of room for modding in the future.

Gotya!RWD huh?How about another s13? LOL then you can have a parts car when your throught with it.

I like the older Supra's and RX7's. If you get a N/A one then upkeep should be ok.(that damn rotary can be a bitzh though)

Does it have to be a import? You can usually find a 90-92 mustang 5.0 pretty cheep.

For snow driving it's hard to beat a VW Bettle.

im looking at a NA 13b rx7. turbo = not ready for the commitment. that, and i will end up upgrading a turbo II if i had one hehehe. and yeah, pretty much looking at only imports. they're arent any light, nice-handling RWD domestics in my price range. (fiero doesnt cut it) :Dthen there's that alfa milano 3.0. mmmmm-Enzo

13B Rx-3 sure, it might not be the best choice for a daily driver, but that's what you have a 240 for:D

I had an 87 Fiero GT.It was pretty damn fun.I beat many V8 cars with it.You got to love a RWD Rear motor car.The only problem was keeping it from overheating on Hot days when you wern't moving.

those AWs are small inside. The little mazda a couple of posts up is a great choice, some were 4WD.

Mazda is AWD 1.6 turbo 0-60 in the mid 8's. I think it was only offered in 88 & 89.

Hey, with the targa, sky's the limit. ;)

BTW, I'll be looking for a new car soon and like the thought of the 323 as well (thx Rex!). I mean, on the "323's For Sale" page listed below, I found an '88 GTX 5spd w/150k miles for $1,500! :rockon

For more info on the 323...*323's For Sale*The "Home of the 323 Lover" Site*Mazda 323 Performance*Cork Sport (performance parts)

There are 2 on ebay right now, one is even in Grafton, WI

In WI, somewhat modded

Swapped lower milage motor

Both have a buy it now over $3k, which I think is a bit much.

An old E30 (or slightly newer E36) BMW would kick. A 325i (or iS) w/ a 5spd would be quick. Ever head those things? I heard one with stock exhaust with a K&N filter, and it growled really nice, especially under load, STOCK. Mostly because those things rust from the inside out, and thus the muffler was just a big metal thing with a rusty piece of something inside with holes in it.

If you can find one in decent shape those are just cool:cool:Love the angular looks combined with the fact Alfa doesnt sell here anymore but its a great marque with great tradition.

But another S13 is a good idea also, there are always some FS on NICO BST.

Fred...:)
