Greeting and all that BS! I haven't been on 240sx.org and the forums for AGES, or for that matter a lot of Nissan forums for what seems like ages. Been over working primarily with the European market, but I am looking at getting a 1990 240sx 5-speed with 177,000 miles for $1200 on Monday.

Wondering if the deal is a good one considering all that needs work initially at least to get it bone stock and in near perfect shape is the rear bumper cover aligned properly where it was lightly dinged and pushed downward. Wish I had taken my cam with me so i could show pics as they always speak louder then words.

No the car is a one owner and just needs the rear bumper fixed or fully replaced with another one as it was dinged and pushed downward. No cracks amazingly on the rear bumper though. Paint is immaculate, and it drives great except a lil sloppy due to old shocks and springs, but that will be taken care of first thing when I get it.

Thanks for the welcome. I used to be on Maxima.org all the time when I had my maxima, and also on Nismo.org especially.

That is exactly what I am doing! Just have to wait for my 1988 BMW 735iL to sell.

Try and get them down a little more. 177k miles is ALOT of miles. The KA is a great motor and can go for well over 200k with regular maintenance, but it never hurts to try to get it down lower. How is the rest of the body, condition wise, other then the rear bumper? Check under the spoiler (if equipped) for rust (if its a hatch). How is the interior? Will it need tires soon? All of the little stuff on a 13 year old car can get the price down. Good luck with it man, keep us updated.

Yeah I am gonna try to get it under $1000, but if I can't $1200 is still a good deal, and I am still gonna get it cause I am modify it quite substantially with all the money from the sale of my 7 series.
