well i was on this forum for a while with my altima coupe till i traded it in about 2 months ago. so thought i would share some pics with yall since i was finally able to take some. has slight mods but im not gettin cray with it. so hope u enjoy!!

a member is a member... you stayed in the NIssan family so ur alright with me....

nice G... just curious why you got such a slow car though ... sorry, had to throw that one in there... looks very clean... that's one thing about the G, it can look clean with a minimal amount of mods... IMO, the A/C needs a few things to make it look sexy....

also, i LLOOOVVVEEEE seeing the Nissan skyline 350 GT versions of the g35... really makes it feel like a nissan family... definitely better than having a car called a "fairlady" Z ....

lol....yup had to bring her back home to the nissan family. slow!!! lol...i love this car. way faster then the altima i think...and its rwd so its more fun too.

I only have the 2.5 AC but I thought the 3.5 was killin the G's in a drag, am I wrong?

i wouldnt think so...my altima was the 3.5. imo the g is way faster and quicker. it feels heavier but im sure the g would win. ive seen a g stay with a z

The G is nice, but every head to head race posted here and on youtube has the g losing to the a/c... same thing with the Z actually... off the line, the Z and G can have a slight edge on the A/C, but in every 1/4 mile I've seen and heard of, the A/C owns the G...

if you have a manual, you may have a chance... but the 5AT on the G and Z are not very efficient, and would lose in a heads up vs a CVT...

I've beaten Z's and g's in my A/C and that's with 250 lbs of stereo equipment...

but please let's not turn this into a let's bash on the g35 thread.. their all NIssan with almost similarly tuned engines... its almost like racing the same car... the only difference is HP to weight ratio, and the g's are just so darn heavy

i got the auto n shifting isnt great but its not bad. i heard that a grounding kit fixes it up 100x better n improves shifting. gotta get me some tho

they never sold as a skyline in the US...only in japan. i want to paint or get overlays for the headlights and the tails either black out these, get one of bats overlays and/or get the jdm tails. and thanks for all the positive feedback!!!

i asked a Nissan Skyline 350GT owner and he said he purchased it like that... i guess he got it used after it was already rebadged, or he may have got it imported from Japan like that.... i wonder if some Infinitiu dealers rebadged them themselves and sold them as "dealer installed options... wouldn't surprise me if they did

i've got friends with both Z's and G's, the z is an 04 manual, and the g is an 05 auto, the z i beat in BOTH the freeway and from a dead stop, and i would beat the G even worse.

maybe his 04 Z is in crappy condition or he can't drive stick. Beat 05 g35 auto? possible.

Ya'll need to whore up our G forum

The Alty V6 coupe can beat the G35-series coupes due to near-equal hp and being 200-300lbs lighter. The Alty coupe falters with the '07-08 G35 sedan which had the HR motor and the '08+ coupe with the VHR motor.

very very true... its all HP and weight when it comes to the same company, same engine, and slightly different tunes... yeah RWD may give a novice driver better grip off the line... but there's definately a way to get a really good launch with the FWD A/C as well...

a lot of people didn't realize that they upped the HP on the G35 sedan BEFORE they did it on the coupe! so if someone here sees a 2007 G35 sedan and they think they got a win on their hands, they will be disapointed

sorry Kuhan, I love the Z, but stock for stock its only a tad bit faster than the A/C, same driver, also there was a 300lb crub weight difference between the normal and roadster/enthusiast version in 2004, so if its the roadster version, its a win for the A/C .... with the regular coupe version, if the driver sucks, it'll be a L for the Z, if the driver is good, then I think it becomes a driver's race... reviews like this http://www.cartype.com/pages/579/nissan_350z__2004

had the 2004 Z doing 5.8 0-60 and 14.4 in the 1/4 ....

if I'm not mistaken, Nissan did NOT switch to the "up-rev" version of the VQ35DE until 2005... so this may have a bit to do with it also!

ummm...that's true. depends on the if it's a coupe or a roadster. Yeah, I forgot it has VQ DE and not up-rev.

yeah bruh, you have a 2008 manual... don't think a 3.5 A/C would beat you... although I'd love to see a race go down at a 1/4 mile track one day

well for me my G was an upgrade in many aspects... went from a 2.5 to a 3.5.....went from a sedan to a coupe...and of course the sexiness of the G is far more than the sexiness of the Alti coupe.

don't go there bina... don't become one of those guys... faer more sexy is a matter of opinion... one not shared by many folks on this forum that bought their 3.5 A/C over a new or used g35...

saying the g35 is sexier than an A/c is like saying sharon stone is hotter than megan fox... one is YESTERDAY'S hotness, the other is TODAY'S hotness... I will admit, however, the the exhaust tone is sexier... much, much sexier... So, while sharon stone may be slower, and yesterday's news... she still sounds good in bed
