Whats up everyone, i havent been active in a very very long time although i pop in once a while just to skim the forum posts.. The Pathfinder is still with us and my mother uses the car now, at 153k miles and running like new, it was my first car and I did all the maintenance on it, tons of suspension mods which are still on there, minus the lowering springs, full soundsystem install etc. I'll never forget it as thats what i used to truley get into cars and being able to work on it myself, always strived to do everything professional, clean, and sleek. Ever since then its been an addiction, now i run my own side business as well and work on mainly bmws but anything else euro as well, and do alot of specialized fixes and calibrations with software that sometimes even dealers wont do right or charge an arm and leg..

I can still say i trust the pathfinder reliability on mine to drive from east coast to west and back multiple times without a worry.

Heres a little timeline for everyone

Original ( how it looks now as well, except for the fog tint and clear corners still on)

After

Then got this, 2001 Audi A4 1.8T, cleaned it up, clear corner mod, 20mm spacers all around, SSAC catback exhaust, and APR stage 1 tune.

And now at this 2006 BMW X5 4.8is, never looked back since, was going to keep the audi but wasnt driving it at all..

Back when i got it, Novemeber 2012 - 60k miles, first day home

Enjoy guys, hope everyones path/qx are running well, recently took mine in for the strut recall and airbag, they did the fiberglass repair plus added some extra bolts looks like on both sides, although mine was very well protected since i sprayed the whole car with undercoat paint fully 2 times before.

One more note, anyone in the east PA area or NJ needs work done on their r50/qx4 i can do anything and everything on them for you. I know these inside and out.

Things certainly do change. I personally like the new layout of the site, however we could use a few more members to keep the forums good and busy. That BMW is insanely loud! If I heard that thing going down the road, I would assume it was either a muscle car or a big truck. I do live in KY though so those are pretty common lol. Glad to see you're still around! I have browsed many old threads that included your posts and I was always happy to see them there. Good luck with the business and if I am ever in PA near you, look out for a post here from me, because there are always about 5 things I either want to upgrade or repair on my Pathfinder.

Good to hear from you and see the Pathfinder is still going. Nice X5!! What size wheel/tire combo are you running?

GRN-

Factory tire and wheels on the 4.8is are 20"

10.5 wide in rear and 9" up front, 315/35/20 tires in rear and 275/40/20 up front.

New wheels are 10.5 all around, 275 tire up front with a slight stretch and 315s in back..

I also run a very aggressive spacer setup on it as well.

Only model to come with 4 corner air suspension, its lowered but i can adjust it at any time or put back to stock 5 min with computer.

That is awesome. I looked and looked for a staggered setup for my other SUV (stock size 275/45/20). Ended up with 295/45/20 all around on 20x9.5 wheels. Not the exact look I wanted but couldn't find anything equal in height for the rear tires. Still considering spacers but not sure I'm sold on the safety factor. For every positive review I read, there are 2 more negatives...
