I had some questions related to the Old Man EMU Suspension offered by ARB.

To start off I am already aware that ARB has offered the Nitrocharger Shocks and Struts since the dawn of time and many individuals were very happy with the original Nitrocharger Shocks and Struts. Fast-forward to 2010 and ARB updates the Nitrocharger to the Nitrocharger Sport. Many individuals did not like them and I can say that at first I was not a believer of the bad reviews(the original suspension on my 2019 Ranger sucked). After running the Nitrocharger Sport on both the Ranger and a 1993 Pathfinder, I learned that the Valving was not what I would call great.

Now ARB has changed the Nitrocharger again to the Nitrocharger Plus. From what I can tell there are some obvious changes like the bigger diameter body(2.28 in or 58 mm), and an updated shock body look. Supposedly the valving has been updated(hopefully in a good way).

My question is, has anyone tried the Nitrocharger Plus yet? If so what are your thoughts?

I decided to contact ARB on this and what I found out wasn't what I called satisfying. Essentially they are a one for one replacement. The only change was the exterior design including the fact the struts now have an adjustable collar for height and weight requirements. Everything else is the same. So unless you like the ride of the Old Man EMU Nitrocharger Sport, you probably will be disappointed.

After I found out that information, I decided to go with Dobinsons, but that will be down the road as I need to save my pennies.
