I don't know which one to get. Old Man Emu offers a 1.75" lift kit with a Front 9/16" lift Trim Packer. Or the 2" AC. I want to put a lift on that avoids the rear end of the suv sitting higher than the front.

I noticed that there is are two types of coils offered "heavy" and "medium" does anyone know if the ride height is different between the two coil choices?

What do you guys think would be better in ride quality?

Could I buy the front lift trim packer from old man emu and use it with the 2 inch AC lift kit?

Any suggestions would be great thanks!

medium should be the softest of them all. (but still harder than stock). i suggest u go with at least the heavy, ive seen the medium and it isnt that much taller than stock

i know what you mean. i hate that "angry stinkbug" stance that some lifts give. I think OME rear springs are like that.

Thanks for the info. Its going on my 2003 QX4, does the AC 2" lift it enough to put a 265/70/18? I wanted to use a Nissan Titan 5 spoke wheel? I heard I might need to bore out the center hub of the wheels.

yea u just have to bore tire size is a 32.6" i think it can be done with minor trimming as long as the backspacing allows it people have fit certain 33's with the AC lift and trimming

I've been looking at the OME or AC for my 00 QX4. I'll be interested to know what you go with and the results. I like the idea of OME because it's a little less stress on the CV joints, but I don't want the front to sit lower.

Also, my mechanic suggested putting extended brake lines in the back. OEM left enough slack in the front for a lift, but he thought the back might be a little tight. Has anyone done this?

the front brake line stays in the same place just the spring height changes.the rear brake line is long enough even at full flex.the only line you have to extend is the vent hose on the rear axle.

I called Rocky Mountain Suspensions who sells the OME kit, but the guy on the phone was no help at all. Does anyone have a pictures of the stock coils next to the bigger coils?

I called Rocky Mountain Suspension again and got a guy named Glen who was so much more helpful than the other guy. I decided to go with the OME suspension with the trim packers in the front. This should give me at least a 2 inch lift in the front, and 1.75" in the back.

Has anyone posted a detailed "how to lift a pathfinder" in the past with pictures?

I think I am gonna go with medium. I really want the QX4 to have a nice ride, but someone told me that the heavy coils make the vehicle sit slightly higher than if you were to buy comfort or medium. Has anyone else heard of this?

I have the AC 2" lift with GR2 struts & Rancho 9000xs (or is it sx?) & it rides better than stock. Its all about the front struts & rear shocks when it comes to the ride quality.
