So I haven't been around on these forums for a long time. Never really posted much, just on purely to admire everyone else's cars. Well I've been working on my car still here and there religiously and decided why not show what I’ve done. I originally posted my build back in the day on here. Luckily I was able to remember my password and find my original build post topic269297.html.

What I’ve done most recent is just get my valve cover powder coated and new BWR oil cap. Last year I went and pretty much gutted the car and put in a new RHD dash. I also converted the car to power windows, I put in 180sx seat belts, new carpet, new gauges, new battery, and installed Evo 8 seats. My plan hopefully soon is to get new coilovers and put on kouki type-x aero. Then repaint the whole car to freshen it up. As well as upgrade to a new turbo possibly a GTX-2867r or the Precision 5130 bolt-on turbo, new injectors, and tune it. Still haven't decided on what aftermarket ecm I want, I've been thinking of using enthalpy. Hope everyone enjoys the pictures.

These doors were very clean no rust at all. Just transferring everything over to my car. Luckily when I converted my car to RHD I ended up switching out my old body harness for another usdm harness that had power windows.

Removing the old manual seat belts. I converted to manual ones using spare seat belts from an acura integra.

In the pic above, the driver/passenger seat sat to high. I ended up deciding to by one Bride seat rail. I'm buying another for the passenger side in the near future.

It's good to see that some projects don't die. Some just come and go from the spotlight every now and then. I'm glad you've been making progress and that you found time to share with us at NICO Club again! I kind of like that shade of green you have and those nice mountains in the background. The gauge trim is pretty nice to. I don't think I've seen anything like that before. I kind of think the rims should be the same color as that trim, it seems like a nice offset to the green.

I don't think I'll ever get rid of this car. I have other projects but I love this car. I agree that projects come and go and leave the spotlight. I think I'll always comeback to Nico, it's where it all started for me. Thanks for the compliment on the gauge trim. As for the wheels I'm going to have the centers powder coated silver and get them looking nice. These Work Autostrada Modena wheels are hard to find and rare, so I think the original silver will do it justice. What I want to do is get wheel bolts polished back up and have the bolt heads powder coated or gold plated. Might be cheaper to get them gold powder coated in transparent gold.

That's a pretty interesting front speaker setup you've got there. Are those 6.5"?
Do you know where the brackets came from/do you have more pics?

That's nifty as heck. Countersunk holes and everything. I wonder what they are made out of.
Maybe I'll take my door apart and get some measurements and whip up a few sets.

EDIT - there's also these:
