My SR is great except one flaw: Off Idle it seems to skip/miss/ hesitate/sputter until around 15hundred or so. It's really annoying when I'm just trying to drive normal. Timing was set by timing light, 2nd mark on the pulley (from the right), with the ol'e spark plug wire jammed in the coil pack and TPS was unplugged. Voltage for TPS is right at idle and WOT. Could it be that my TPS has a dead spot? I am half tempted to go get the 97 200sx one. Spark plugs are gapped at 28 and are brand new because I thought it might have something to do with that. Any other ideas? This is almost as bad as blowing IC piping off all the time (and I would know haha).

honestly if you have access to another ecu i would try that unless your is tuned for upgrades..i think its an ecu problem..its not the first time i have seen that before..and 99percent fo the time i encountered that type of an issue its usually been the ecu..
