okay...my first question: front license plate attachment

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Okay, I finally got my plates and its the law here in CA to have the front license plate on. I took a quick look and saw there weren't any pre-drilled holes in the front. Has anyone put their front plate on their EX35?

You can go back to the dealer and maybe they would put it on for you. Here in Florida we only need one and the dealer put it on for me, maybe your dealer will do the same for you that you need one on the front and back.

It is easy to DIY but make sure you drill the right holes.

I hate the thought of having to drill holes into my bumper!

Be very careful and make sure you get the plate holder on tight. Mine came off on the highway on a rainy day and the replacement costs $85!

The dealer should do it for you for free. When I bought mine, the dealer told me to bring the car in to them if I wanted the front license plate bracket installed.(Though if you want to do it yourself, I see that the owner's manual pages 9-12/9-13 talks about drilling the holes.)
