Boy do I feel like an idiot for asking this question. But...

Why can I only get my key into the ignition 1/2 way? I see that the ignition is in the lock position, but the manual says I sould be able to insert and remove the key from this position. So what's the deal?

Hehe... Well, I was trying to use all the wrong keys. The original owner (an old lady that was probably losing her mind) made like a million extra door and gas tank keys, but I only got one key for the ignition. So I was going through this stupid bag of keys trying everyone I pulled out. Finnally I tried every key in the bag and came inside to post this thread. Then about 30 sec. later I saw the ignition key sitting on the counter. So like I said, I'm retarded.

I'll post some pics as soon as I can.

Yeah, you should've seen me sitting there, cusing and getting all pissed off. These cars are so different from what I'm used to, I was trying to think of little "tricks" that might work to get the key in. And then after I had completely had my *** kicked by the car I came inside with my head down and just happened to see the ONE key that I needed.
