I know this has been asked before, but I have gotten so many different responses. Im getting these 19X8.5" rims for my 2012 coupe 2.5s: http://www.wheelsnext.com/wheels-rims/T ... tripe.html

These are the responses I have gotten:

TireRack.com: 245/35-19
DiscountTire.com: 245/40-19
b2autodesigns.com: 245/35-19
Experienced A/C Owner on NicoClub: 235/40-19
WheelsNext.com: 235/35-19

So Yeah, all very professional trusted sources, but say different things?? BTW, I am NOT lowering the car. So if that helps, but I had already mentioned that to the names listed above and those are still the sizes they gave me.

Thanks

245/40/19 end of story. closest to the stock diameter so your speedo isn't off

Alright Ill get that, even though the guy at Discounttire.com said its 35 because 40 would not fit and might rub, lol. But im sure 40 will be fine-- thanks

Imagine if you somehow managed to raise your car from stock height instead of lowering it. Would you rub then?

EDIT
Woops, I misread what you said / were asking. Sorry! Any of those sizes should have no issues if you aren't dropping your car. Like others say, try to stick for to the same overall diameter as your stock wheels, unless you're going for a certain look /purpose and are willing to sacrifice ride comfort.

well it depends on your offsets, but yeah, no issues and i drive pretty aggressively at times. but right now i'm on 234/40 all around, no rubbing whatsoever.

there are guys who are running even wider tires without rubbing issues.

It's not as stretched as you might think, I'm on Coilovers too and to me the ride isn't too bad.

Try to stick to your overall diameter as the stock wheels, unless you plan for a certain look / aim and are willing to sacrifice comfort.
