ok what is going on is it the battery?!!

k now my friends car isnt working at all wont turn over or anthing no lights the power windows dont roll up nothing at all the little beeping thing when you put the key in dosnt even work all the wayit beeps like half the little tune,All this started by the A/C blower and all that stopped working and the gauges stopped and everything after revving to 6k rpms is when all this stopped working,And it kept blowing fuses and stuff what could this be now the car wont even start im assuming its the battery or maybe voltage regulator.Any help much appreciatedthe car is a 93' 240sx Hatchback SE

have the battery tested. if it's not the battery it's your alternator.

would this also affect the A/c blower and stuff? when i turn on the car fan it dosnt do anything and the gauges do nothing as well

Do you have a volt meter? do you have a battery charger?

Take the battery out and find out what the static voltage is. Let us know

Then take your battery charger and hook it up on high... then take your volt meter and hook it up parallel with the battery and charger.

Get a watch and turn the charger on. If the battery goes over 15.5 volts within 3 minutes then the battery has sulfated plates.

This is just a very simple way to see if your battery is good or not... If it comes out good then have it load tested with a VAT.. autozone can probly do it for free.

As for your ALT take it of and get it bench tested.

If you feel comftorable taking your alt appart i can guide you throught on how to chech the voltage regulator and the diodes and stator to make sure its all functioning properly. Im not sure if the FSM shows diagnostic procedures for the alt but its worth a look.

Im thinking about taking the alt off and stuff thanks alot for your help i want to talk to you in the future about some other things do you have a ka-t? anyways this is a friends car that is having these problems but i want to know anyways i might just go get the battery tested

Ok something is going on....Ok so i fixed the car and the gauges and everything worked fine. My friend closes the drivers door and BOOM the same fuses blow wtf is going on?!?! what could this be something from the seatbelt?Also the drivers window dosnt roll down its power too so maybe a short in there or what?

Its electronics and one called meter it might be another one too but i think its just those two but it always blows the meter gauge
