ok, got my FMIC kit in the mail today....I got a set that is made for the r32 GTS-T, so the piping kit hopefully will come close. but if it does not, can i use Pvc piping from like home depot to mock up the piping, and if needed, drive on it? of course i know to make sure there is no dust or shavings in it and i would not boost it hard, but just in case, i want to know if i can use this stuff.

its definatley a temporary thing

i was using a pvc elbow for a while, worked great till it got real hot, then it would deform and pop clamps off.

yah, it will definately be temporary. the kit is supposed to be a complete bolt up, but on a skyline, shouldnt be too different, but i not counting on a perfect fit. I got the kit for 250 shipped. intercooler pipes, clamps, intercooler(about srt-4 size)and a Greddy BOV. Can't complain. For 250 on ebay, i am pretty impressed with the quality. plus i got it in 7 days.

i got my greddy FMIC kit with S14 IC piping (for an Sr). we'll see how much fabbing needs to be done. i figured that would be the closest fit though. i have the greddy IM also, so im assuming that makes an even bigger difference. sounds like you got a much better deal than i did though. haha. new Greddy FMIC with piping, and a TIAL bov. haha. you had better believe i paid a little more than $250..... lol.

You could use it on the cold side, and most PVC piping holds up to 140 PSI and make sure you use Rubber cement to seal the joints. My friend had to use PVC for awhile becuase he was in the same circumstance as you, but it was on the cold side only.

yah, i can already tell the hotside will in fact bolt right up. my Greddy Bov has a small indent on the mounting surface, it is actually greddy, but they must have gotten a deal on it for Scratchn' Dent, o well. I am hoping to bolt it up tomorrow.

is the Bov More affective closer to the turbo, or at the throttle body? I guess i could run them both, have my stock recirc and my greddy vent to atmosphere on the hotside. might be a bit ricey, but i did pay for the damn thing.
