Hi:

I am gonna start a series of write-ups/pictures about how to repair our J. I will start first with:

Interior1) Complete Interior tear-off including dash board removal (this will fix the defroster vent from poping up)2) Leather seat restoration with "LEATHERIQUE"3) Complete sunroof repair with weatherstrip replacement4) Door checker and window regulator replacement5) SOUND DEADENDING6) BOSS head unit replacement with scosche adapter7) DIY TINT job

Exterior1) OEM style (after market hyper wing) rear spoiler installation.2) Underbody rust prevention with RUST BULLET3) Zaino Polish4) Watherstrip care5) Front and rear bumper removal

Maintainance:1) All oil/fluid/filter changes2) DIY BG SERVICES!!!!! That's right, you can save A LOT.

That's it.

Why am I doing this? I am doing this not b/c my J is broken or anything. The only reason is that I fell in love with J when I first saw it on Car and Driver at 17 (1995). Back then, I was only a high school kid and had no money even to pay the down payment for a new J. Now I am 28 and I finally own a second-hand 1993 J with about 70k miles. To make my dream come true, I will restore my J to close-to-new condition.

So, I am doing this is just to document/share my dream. Well, stayed tunned and I will perhaps start a web site to store all the write-ups.
