It's a spray which goes on your plates. When the camera flashes, it reflects and I'm assuming your plate will not be readable by the camera. Now I don't know how effective this would be though, especially on a bright day.shift_mikey wrote:

The link Rob supplied was actually for a spray-on gloss. The idea is that the cameras they used to take your license plate number will use a flash and the light from that flash will bounce back and will distort and prohibit the authorities from reading your plate. Think of it as taking a picture of yourself straight on in a mirror.. the flash comes back and you can't see anything.shift_mikey wrote:

Exactly, in regards to taking pictures, it basically justs causes the camera to overexpose when taking the pic. It supposdto work on cameras that utilize a flash (like the ones in Baltimore)... I know all cameras aren't the same in every city, but if your city employs one of the flash cameras, then this is a great way to prevent your self from getting a ticket.maxentropy wrote:

I was gonna say the exact same thingitsjustbusiness wrote:dang! well, at least your coupe looks dead sexy on camera
Mythbusters tried it. That stuff doesnt work. None of the "license plate covers" work including the plastic ones. They work maybe like, 20 percent of the time but that spray doesn't work at all. The concept does, but not the product.generic808 wrote:

yea it was proved on mythbusters that none of those products work. only real thing that works its slowing down and following the speed limits...gatorglaze wrote:

I agree... The van was already further into the interestion in the first pic, but it looks like they travelled the same distance.windex wrote:Personally i wonder if that van got a ticket too. Cause it seems like they are further into the intersection than you are.
Speed Limit on I-90 is 55 dudeLinkNuc wrote:I don't know if I have a case it looks like i was going about as fast as the traffic on the other side...i dunno if it was 35mph there I was probably doing between 35 and 40...I see no reason to speed in that situation anyway...especially because I was killing time while my dad was getting his tests done...I was as you can see about 70 streets from downtown on the way over I was probably doing 55-60 on I-90 and the limit is 65...it was really rainy..
